This is a beautiful place to stay in Manteo, NC. The owner provided us with a historical tour of the house and knows a lot about Manteo and it's history. The house was clean and quiet and is a great location with so many places within walking distance.

The Manteo House was a great discovery for us. We loved the beautiful house and the location was great. It is within walking distance of restaurants, shops and the movie theater. The owner is very friendly and he gave us a history of the home upon our arrival. We absolutely loved our stay and we definitely want to return on our next trip to the Outer Banks.

As we’re packing to head back home, wishing we could stay longer. The Manteo House is wonderful. Such a beautiful property filled with charm and (very) early American history. So glad we discovered this gem. We’ll be back again and again. Andy and Shelley Waldeck.

A truly lovely stay in a beautifully preserved historic home. The setting was both convenient and serene, close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. The owner was incredibly hospitable and gave a wonderful tour, sharing fascinating details about the home and the area’s history. His warmth and local knowledge made the experience even more special. Every detail was thoughtful, and the atmosphere was welcoming and full of charm. Can’t wait to return!

The Manteo House was the perfect place to spend three days in beautiful Manteo. Exquisite comfort in a gorgeously maintained historic estate. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants, the Pioneer Theatre, and the Roanoke Festival grounds. ?????

The Manteo House makes for a perfect Outer Banks getaway. You can enjoy the Coastal Carolina experience while taking a trip back in time at this 1871 property. With views of the water and famous Manteo Marshes Light the walk to Downtown storefronts and restaurants is less than a block away with many great places to dine, sip, and stroll. A 10 minute drive from the beach the Manteo House makes for a great escape from the hustle and bustle of summer traffic and is a peaceful place to rest your head. Great for a romantic getaway, girls trip, or even coming into town for business.

The Manteo House was the perfect spot to host a client in town this week. The house was a lovely setting for our meeting (lots of history in every room) and the suite was a relaxing getaway for her. We are already planning her next meeting and trip back to stay longer!
