5/5 Stars ? – Affordable and Packed with Perks! ?This is a two-star hotel, but it easily earns 5 stars for the sheer value and unique perks. The "free breakfast" is pretty basic—just cereal, Honey Buns, and Hostess donuts—and there are communal microwaves on each floor rather than in the rooms. However, the extras completely make up for it! They offer awesome features like arcade games (including Pac-Man), free popcorn, and fresh cookies at night. ?The room came stocked with the usual shampoo and soap, but they also thoughtfully provide free sunscreen, plus complimentary razors and combs if you forget yours. The location is unbeatable: a 5-minute walk to the beach and an easy walk to CVS and Wings. Aside from the slightly weird virtual check-in process, this place was an absolute steal for the price. Highly recommend if you want an affordable, fun beach stay!

Great stay. Extremely affordable and clean along with kind employees and amenities. Milo was helpful and kind at checkout and the room was exactly as advertised. If you’re looking for a nice budget stay right by the beach this is the one.

This place was a true hidden gem. The rooms were exceptionally clean and had plenty of modern upgrades that made the stay feel comfortable and a bit elevated. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like bathrobes, great lighting, and a coffee machine in the room. The bed and bedding were very comfortable, and the shower was a highlight—excellent water pressure with a great shower head. The large smart TV (around 55 inches) was perfect for relaxing in the evening. If you’re traveling with kids, there are great amenities like a pool and outdoor games, plus fun extras indoors—I personally loved the Pac-Man machine. The location is also a big plus: only two blocks from the beach, and close to plenty of restaurants. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, family-friendly, and slightly unique place to stay.

I could go On and On about both of my experiences here at this hotel. While it's newly renovated and appears very nice. The front desk owner lady is very rude. I guess this is family run because I met the daughter who was cleaning the rooms. She doesn't speak much English but she's very nice. The husband on the other hand. He's very persuasive and will make it sound as a great deal over the phone untill you get there in person. There's multiple extra taxes and fees. (Was told I would be given complimentary robes, candy, coffe ETC, Everything for my birthday) All this is an add-on for more money! A $50 incidental that you will not get returned for 2 weeks. If you want good customer service without a lot of BS in between, don't stay here.

None of your description matches the stay- Warm mineral Pool was not available Sauna was the size for a small child Couldn't fit in the room to play the 1 arcade game as the items are all crammed together stool blocked Rooms are far from sound proof - tried to call the first night about someone banging on the walls couldn't get anyone this was about 10:30pm The second night didn't even try to reach anyone but was woken up several times the last one being 4:10am by banging and people throwing stuff. You need microwaves in the rooms- coming upstairs people are cooking whatever in the hall microwave and the smell is disgustingly bad. There is no "mini bar" there is a shelf on the wall with $8 drinks and snacks and an inappropriate placed "lovers kit" great for kids to see ? The rooms aren't spacious they are crammed packed with extra chairs from wherever and getting the sofa bed out is a whole chore on its own with all the mess you have to move to make it work. There are zero instructions for the tv or ac unit . Bathroom has zero privacy with a "sliding" door ????? who wants your roomies to hear what goes on while you are in the restroom? Much less no way to contain any smells for the vent to suck up - ? The staff was nice that I met. The AI kiosk system is crap and should be removed. There should be staff onsite 24-7 for any needs and safety issues. Last but not least- when I called I was told I could have a first floor due to needing knee replacement and after payment was sent a text no first floors were actually available- so yes struggled with 2 flights of stairs which drastically reduced what I was able to do on my trip due to my knee being in so much pain. Rooms are super clean, new furniture, apartment size fridge is a plus. View sucks couldn't find the "private" beach but hey it's a "boutique inn" right? I had high hopes and was drastically let down. The GM did give us an extended checkout until 2 which we won't use in entirety because why would we? He was then getting an attitude when I explained the stuff in his listing was not available- NEVER any hot cookies, the popcorn was only at 5pm and there was no ice cream, game room etc - the details are highly exaggerated and embellished to get you here with no true matching outcome. Should really have negative stars but due to the rooms cleanliness and the 2 staff members (that I met) kindness it's gets 2.5

Overnight stay and was absolutely wonderful for us. Cookies and popcorn was a nice surprise for the evening and breakfast was certainly adequate. For the price we were pleasantly surprised. Very clean and Susan was friendly and helpful at checkout. Check in and check out are done through a kiosk.

I got a room on the third floor, and the entire hallway smelled really bad. My room also smelled terrible. The odor was so strong that i felt nauseous and had to vomit. Because of the smell and the noise, we couldn’t sleep. There were loud noises coming from the other room. Kids were running around until almost midnight, and the room was not soundproof at all. We were expecting a big sauna based on the advertisement, which was the main reason we booked the room. Instead, the sauna was very small and looked fake—more like a small electric sauna. It was very disappointing. The advertisement was misleading. We booked the room thinking we would be able to relax in a large sauna, but it was nothing like what was shown.

The hotel itself is very nice with beautiful facilities. However, the lady at check-in does not do her job well; her attitude is despotic towards customers, and she made charges to my account that I did not authorize. The hotel is fine, but the poor attitude of the staff makes the stay a fiasco. They also did not clean my room during the time I was there.

2 visits: One Great and the Other a Disaster Our first trip went smoothly and we were even given an upgrade due to our original linens being dirty. We appreciated it and this review was originally 5 stars especially for Rio’s service in particular. HOWEVER Our second visit was a disaster. When we arrived our room was 85 degrees and the heating system was broken. Despite there being rooms available for an upgrade we were instead downgraded from a King bed to a Queen. Then we encountered nothing but combativeness from the on-sight manager. She really was unsympathetic to our complaint about the room downgrade and also just overall negative. I was told by the receptionist (person on screen) that 11:30AM would be proper for check out which was wonderful as I wanted to sun dry my wetsuits before the road. However, when I went to lay them out by pool she immediately was combative and told me that what I’d heard from the receptionist was incorrect. Additionally, when she discovered that we had been the guests who previously had hair in their bed (dirty linens) she questioned that we had found the hair and began to treat us much more negatively. We thought we had found a great spot to stay when on a budget but I don’t think we’ll be back unless it’s the only place with a room in town.

I have stayed at this property numerous times in the past and the update to the property is very nice and clean. I made my reservation through Super + and the room rate was very affordable. At check in I was required to leave a $50 incidental deposit and was told this deposit would be returned to my card promptly as soon as I checked out. I checked out yesterday and I still have not received my money back and in fact another charge for $6 and some change was attempted on my card yesterday afternoon without any contact from the hotel. I have been trying with no response whatsoever since checking out to contact someone with the property to get my “deposit” back and all attempts at contact have been ignored. I would be leaving a higher rating had this issue not happened or had the property at least responded to my contact attempts. So once I have received my money back I will update my review until then this is just very bad business!
