I booked a stay here during my road trip along the coast and it turned out to be a bit of a mixed bag. The absolute best part about this property is the incredible location because you step right out of the building and onto the beautiful sandy beach. It is also super close to some awesome historic landmarks and great local spots to grab food after a long afternoon in the sun. My room itself was decently clean and basic, but you can definitely tell the building is getting a little older and could use some updates to the bathroom fixtures and carpets. I also noticed the walls are pretty thin, so I woke up a couple of times during the night from the sound of people walking down the hallway. It is a completely fine, budget-friendly option if your main goal is to spend every waking hour directly by the ocean, but do not expect a high-end luxury resort experience.

No beach view, hassle checking in, long walk over a dube to get to beach, air conditioning in room barely worked. Breakfast was good though. Very disappointed. Update: front desk was able to make things right from check in. I think if they would build a deck off the breakfast area out back & get rid of the dune so you can see & hear the ocean this would make this hotel a lot better.

Throughly enjoyed our stay here. We typically stay at Marriots and this was our first time staying at a Days Inn. For the price, quality, and location it was such a steal. The location was prime with the beach was literally at our doorsteps, any within driving distance you could hit up any popular restaurants, the state park, museums and more. The rooms we're clean and beds comfy. The staff were amazing and super kind and the free breakfast was pretty solid. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay over Easter weekend. Would be considering other Days Inn after our stay here ?

The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean and the beds are comfortable. The lobby is very cozy with a large fireplace. Breakfast is included and they have a washer and dryer on site. You are just a few steps from the ocean and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location to walk out the hotel to the beach. Stayed once in the summer and once in the winter, loved it both times. Most recently came on a cold weekend in January. Room was clean and warm as soon as we checked in. Beds are comfy and the shower head makes it feel like the water is hugging you. Every room has a covered balcony with seats and a table to relax outside. The staff are very nice and helpful. The breakfast had delicious hot food.

It was one of the most charming hotel stays I’ve ever experienced. The moment I entered this property I was greeted by Olga who was the manager. I asked her was it possible for an early check in and she said, “yes”. The room, which was assigned and ready was cozy with modern updates. The bed was firm and everything functioned perfectly. I only with the television was larger. The lobby area had a rustic look and the free breakfast was okay. I really enjoyed the complementary hot cider and cookies each evening. I plan to stay here again when I am back in the area. By the was the sunrise was beautiful from beach steps away for the hotel

I had a great time here! The service was friendly and excellent, and checking in was a breeze. The staff actually upgraded my room for the same price as a normal room, which I was not expecting. The actual room was very comfortable, spacious, and the overall cleanliness was fantastic! The value for the money was also great! I would highly recommended this place to anyone travelling within the area, whether it is for a short break like I did, or for any extended stays.

Great stay for the money. Not your box hotel stay. Take a trip back in time. Old in cool way and clean. Located right on the water awesome sunrise. Rooms were small but who wants to stay in a room when you at the beach except to sleep and it did fine for that. Located by good food as well. Don’t expect a new hotel but the experience is worth it.

My first time to the outer banks, I had the pleasure of staying here! The décor is cozy and feels like home. The beach is foot steps away from the back of the property. Olga (General Manager) and her staff made me feel like more than a guest but a friend. Deena always made sure we had fresh linens if we forgot to remove our “Do not disturb” sign. Sophia repeatedly provided things we’d forgotten with a smile, and Mark gave some of the best food suggestions I experienced in the OBX. I’ll be sure to book my stay here every time I return!

Unfortunately I was only able to spend 1 night due to my daughter missing her flight. I called the hotel and let them know we were coming a day late. They held the room and we checked in quickly once we got there. Not only was the room HUGE but it was spotless. I was a housekeeping manager for a long time and I know clean and I’m picky! We had a fridge and microwave and two of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever had at a hotel. Our visit was shorter than we wanted but I’m glad we chose to stay here. The breakfast was very good and had many options. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. I will definitely come back!
