We had a great experience staying here. We went for a 2-night off season trip and the lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful with getting us set up with parking and keys. The “cottage” we were in was great. 4 very comfortable beds, seating for all of us on the couch and the kitchen had enough stuff for us to cook dinner easily both nights. The price was very reasonable, I’m sure it is more in the summer, but I was happy with it. In terms of the area, Buxton is great - more remote and less touristy than some of the northern areas. I would definitely return!

Best kept secret on the island. Nothing overly fancy. These are great affordable places to stay. The people are absolutely amazing and their service is top notch. Already looking forward to next year's spring and fall fishing trips!

They need to fix their AC/Blinds/& clean the ceiling vents . But other than that it is beautiful here . Quite , you're right on the beach . Aside from the ton of sand bags on the beach it surely is a beautiful area .

The ocean sounds at it's best. We were just after hours checking in and our host walked us to our room. They have done some major work on the sand and broken pavement from the hurricane that was off shore. He had just replaced the steps and wanted us safe.

The host Jamie is the best! We arrived late so she waited for us to make sure we were able to find our room because of the hurricane the weekend before that had high sand domes. The room was clean! Only ding is the wifi..TV was a lil slow but I still give them 5 stars! Most definitely will be back!!

Very clean and the beds and pillows were way more comfortable than expected. I also brought bottles with me that required a bottle opener and the office staff let me borrow one before heading to the beach, and came back to one on the table outside my room! So thoughtful! The pool was amazing and the ocean views were exactly what I needed.

We are absolutely amazed and extremely satisfied with not only our beach front cottage, but the friendly staff was a welcoming change of pace. So very polite and nice. We will definitely be coming here again!

This is a classic motel with friendly and helpful staff and good rooms in a great location at reasonable off-season prices. Docked a star because the new handrails along the stairs were not sanded. Both of us had to cut splinters out of our hands and be extra careful the rest of the trip. Inside the room you can tell maintenance occurs with the new fixtures, but also because they didn’t putty the holes from the prior fixture. Also, salt air begets rust on metal surfaces. Even so, already planning our next trip back. Location, service, and price beat any issues we had, every day of the week.

Wonderful people working here. Made us feel like family. The rooms are very cute and VERY CLEAN. The view is gorgeous. The beach is right here and the price is definitely right. Thank you so much for taking care of my son and I on our spring break trip. We WILL Be back just to stay here.

Wonderful Mom and Pop style motel right on the water. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The views are remarkable! This back to basics lodging was exactly what we enjoy and we plan to come back often.
