Cozy, clean, and adorable rooms. Close to the beach, and restaurants. The pool is perfect and it is priced right! Keyless entry, we didnt need any service. We got clean towels each day.

We stayed in apartment 2! It was clean and the beds were so comfy! We love that you offer apartment style rooms to accommodate our family of 6! Perfect location for walking distance to restaurants and icecream shops and a public beach access across the street! We will definitely be staying here again for our next trip!

This place is just ok. The location is great and it is an updated motel. We liked the location and the decor of room 20. Coffee maker, microwave and fridge are always good to have, especially since there is no ice machine. The pool was nice. The issue we had was that the room had an odor of mold smell. It was very humid or wet feeling in the room too. I am sensitive to smells so did not like that. The room was clean though. Floors not so much but I expect that from beach hotels and we wear slippers around the room. It was plenty cool and quiet for us. I forced myself to get past the smell. Unfortunately the bed was hard and uncomfortable. Not sure if the other rooms have the same mattress but it was terrible. Maybe another room would be better. I don't know if I'm willing to take the chance. It would be nice if they could mitigate the mold issue/smell or cut the humidity down to prevent it. Had no issue with getting in the room. No staff on site but some cleaning crew can be seen in the late morning if you needed to ask for things I assume. There was always a parking spot available. It was very tight to navigate if you have a larger vehicle but it is possible.

The beds were terrible! Location was perfect right down town in kill devil kills. I hate how we got the second level of the motel but it probably was because no one else wanted it and they expected we were fine because we were younger. I have a sprained ankle and struggled getting up the stairs we tried calling the managers once and got no replies. I don’t believe I’ll be staying here again..

DO NOT BOOK HERE! LEFT STRANDED OUTSIDE, COMPLETELY UNREACHABLE! booked a stay at the See Sea Motel via Booking.com. On the day of arrival, the motel failed to send me the required access code for the on line check-in (no check-in lobby, no on-site staff, no service). I was left standed outside late in the evening and was unable to access the room I had already paid for. I tried calling and emailing the property mutiple times to resolve the situation, but they completely ignored me and remained completely unreachable. In the end, I had to find and pay for another hotel at short notice just to have place to sleep. Absolutely unprofessional and a nightmare experience. Avoid this place if you want to make sure you actually have a room to sleep in.

Let me start with ... You get what you pay for. The parking lot is so tiny that full size trucks cant fit. Three different full size trucks were parked and other vehicles cant get past. We had to park on the street. Not to mention that there are not enough parking spaces to begin with. Also, the floors were filthy! Our feet were black after just 10 min of walking around the suite. The beds were super uncomfortable, despite having a mattress pad. You can feel every spring. There is no ice machine. The fridge leaked. ... and the bath tub was grey stained in filth. The towels and wash clothes are stained too. The tub wouldnt drain. My friend and I traveling with our blue collar husbands... they opened up the drain and removed 3 hair wads, each the size of a softball. Tub drains well now. Lol. The kitchenette had a plate and bowl but no silverware or cooking items. So ... you get what you pay for. If you want a bed to sleep in with ac for $130/night. This is your place. If you want a clean, maintained, comfortable place, with easy parking, this isnt it. Also note that there is no staff on site.

First time staying here and definitely would come back! Room was really clean, beds comfortable, nice towels, great shower! We stayed in 18 which faced the beach road - a little noisy, but didn’t keep us from sleeping. Next time might get room 17. Wish they sold merch because their logo is awesome!

This place is a hidden gem of great value! Rooms are small but that's expected in a classic OBX motel. Renovations are great, room was very clean and smelled good, bathroom very nice. King bed was very comfortable. Parking could be tight in a full size truck but our small SUV had no issues. We'll definitely be back for some more weekend trips!

Checked in tonight to get an extra day before my house rental’s available. Seamless reservation and check-in process. Amenities are as described. Room is clean and exactly as advertised. Exterior could use some help, but that’s how it goes when the air is as salty as it is here. Parking is fine.. tons of comments saying how tight it is, but the photos show that. I drive a Silverado and it fits just fine. Would recommend for folks trying to grab an extra day or 2 out of their vacation! Wouldn’t recommend for people who don’t know how to drive and or/park.

The only good thing about this place is the location. THEY WILL CHANGE YOUR A/C OVER NIGHT (remotely)IF THEY FEEL ITS TO LOW. WENT TO BED WITH IT a/c 70 WOKE UP WITH IT AT 84. The parking lot is so small if we parked in front of our room it would have blocked the road out. Then walk in the room its hotas all get out almost 90 degrees in there we turn the a/c on, finally after like 4 hours its a decent temp. The toliet runs not stop the tv didnt work. The room was dirty as there was 1in thick of dust and the mirror was dirty. I wouldnt walk around without shoes. The refrigerator was turn off basically there was water we had to clean up where the freezer defrosted. took almost all night to get it cold enough for even drinks. We bought some homemade ice-cream and had to throw it away because the freezer wasn't cold enough to keep it frozen. Then probably our biggest thing was that it the room was finally a okay temp in the room that we could try to sleep on top of the covers it was still 73 degrees then when we woke up sweating because they remotely turned our a/c back to 84 while we were sleeping. It was cooler outside than in the room. We had such a terrible sleep we didn't even finish our vacation we just came home because we were so tired. I would have left that night if we thought we could have safely made it home. Called that noght of stay told manager would be there sunday. Called at 9am to talk to someone and no answer havnt been able to get ahold of anyone. Finally got ahold of someone at 2 pm same person as night before he told me the manager would be in monday. Just called this morning (monday) got the same guy and told they wouldn't be in until tomorrow. He said that its only the manger and he him, so the manger works when he dont, but yet dont know when the manager works.
