It was just ok. I really thought it would be better by reading the reviews and seeing the pics. Unfortunately not, I was able to check in early as I went and asked. I booked a Kind Ocean front room and ended up getting a King 2 BR Ocean Front Ste. 1st thought would be GREAT, but it was extremely outdated. The kitchen was a hot mess, floor dirty, some dents in it I'm assuming from ppl wearing high heels. Coffee maker was half broke but worked. Again dated. Not that I had to use the 2nd BR shower but that thing looked old as anything and really nasty. The balcony was good, the bed was so so, kind of hard and the pillows were anything but a pillow, my arm was more support. Food was good down at the restaurant, drinks were good. The only thing I'm happy about is we didn't spend much time in the room, a nap, night sleep and shower and gone. I definitely would not go back as the price I paid was not for what I got except for a good view of Ocean. Wish I could get refunded something a night, but live and learn. I know next time. Do better Sea Ranch.

Hotel is in an amazing spot. Great beach and pool. We were in the side building not the main beach view building. Room had plenty of space for us and the baby. The hotel is old and normal wear and tear but needs some updating and renovations. Pricing is decent. All staff were kind and very helpful. The lobby ceiling was leaking. Our bathroom door didnt latch. The mini fridge trim to keep the door sealed was broken. The carpet in the room is gross and I would have not known if I didnt have a crawling baby. The tops of his feet were black constantly from crawling around in the room. I think this is a wonderful place just needs some love and renovations.

Don’t stay here unless you are ONLY staying for the view/location. Let’s start with not as big a deal and go from there: there was no plastic shower liner even though there are rings for them. The pillows are cheap, thin, uncomfortable and so are the blankets. Bring your own because what they have on the bed is the cheapest and scratchiest linens. The “comforter” is a glorified flat sheet especially. It was so dirty. My toddlers feet were BLACK within an hour of being in our room. Now let’s get to the biggest issue: we paid for a crib, I called before we left our house five hours away and confirmed this fact as well. When we arrived, it was not in the room and I was told at check in someone would bring it up, they did not, we called, then we were informed that the crib was cracked and we couldn’t use it and they would just refund our money. Well we confirmed in advance so we did not bring a pack n play and we were not going to allow our son to sleep on the disgusting floor. They went out and bought one without talking to us about what it would be or if we were okay with how they wanted to solve the problem and still charged us for the crib. Well if I had know it wouldn’t be a crib but a pack n play I wouldn’t have paid for it and would have brought my own. Then I asked could we get a refund as this “fix” was not what was advertised and was not what we needed and was told no. Now let’s chat about the restaurant- these folks are obsessed with nutmeg for some reason. The crab dip would have been amazing if they didn’t add nutmeg. Nutmeg in drinks, dishes that don’t need it, everywhere. It was so odd! It was not worth the money for the excess of nutmeg we received but wasn’t the worst either. I just would have chosen somewhere else in retrospect. The service was fine. It is also run down in addition to being dirty. I would not recommend. “Resort” is such a generous word for what this place is and there is a reason they have a 4.2 at the time of this review being left. Save your money and go somewhere else!!!

Unmatched access to the beach! That was excellent. Everyone we spoke to was very kind and courteous. On site restaurant. Food and drinks were good. Live music daily! Only thing I didn't care for, was we had to request to have our room cleaned, and we had to stop at the front desk to get clean towels and washcloths. It really wasn't a big deal. It would've been nice to have clean towels in our room each evening instead of going to the front desk for them. Room was spacious. We had a beach front balcony room. Was nice to sit out there at night to listen to my music and have a few beers.

Hotel was great!! We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and it was beautiful. Right on the beach, large balcony, the bar/restaurant were good, pool was nice, and we were able to get any additional linens/pillows requested. We changed from two regular rooms to the suite the week of our trip with no issues. The staff was very kind and friendly, there were a few new staff that were training and couldn't help with requests yet (like find new towels or get bigger trashcan bags). Overall, a wonderful stay!! Will definitely be returning.
