We decided to extend our time in the OBX after our weekly rental ended, and we’re so glad we found this place! I spoke with Linda, and she was incredibly helpful in making everything easy. My family absolutely loved our stay. The room was spotless, the staff was friendly and exceptional, and you simply can’t beat the oceanfront views. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be staying here again on future trips to the Outer Banks!

We stayed there for five days over the Independence Day holiday and it couldn’t have been better! House keeping was awesome and super friendly, Linda was very warm and inviting, location is great especially if you like kill devil grill! Overall great place we have rebooked for later this month and next year again!

This is great for a couples getaway weekend. I consider it enough to have somewhere to sleep / shower. I feel they need a designated smoking area so you don’t have to walk past every guest smoking outside their room. Location was great to walk right out to the beach / all the restaurants to eat at. I love Millers across the street for breakfast!

This place is so awesome. First of all they called me to let me know my room was ready early. Great clean room. Pool is awesome. The staff is great. Linda will take care of you. We will be staying many more times!!!

What an incredible experience with Outer Banks Motor Lodge. We love supporting Mom and Pop businesses and this place does not disappoint. From the manager to housekeeping staff, we were always greeted with a smile and welcoming attitude. We especially loved the old timey feel of the simplicity of this motel, truly unique! Thank you Linda, for all the details to making our trip unforgettable.

This motel doesn't like short stays. My family went there for 20+ years with no problems. one year, after we booked, they emailed and canceled our reservation saying that we were taking up space guests whod book longer could use. very unprofessional. I spoke to the owner and explained our long patronage and they reversed and kept our booking. We rebooked after our stay for the next year like we did for the 20 years prior. A week later we received and email saying we were not allowed back and our reservation was cancelled. I called again and spoke with the owner and she said other guests in other rooms had "bad behavior " so they were banning my entire family. After 20 years of patronage we were banned because of other guest's behavior because we share a last name. In reality they just don't seem to like Fri-Mon guests. Very unprofessional

Such nice people running the place and a great location, right on the beach. The rooms have little kitchenettes and a fridge, comfortable beds and a quick walk (1 min) to the beach. In the very center of town, close to everything. We appreciated all their recommendations on places to eat and visit. We'll be back!

The access to the beach is great! Also a good central location in Kill Devil Hills. We were able to check in early which was nice and our room was very clean. Amazing views of the ocean from the room. We stayed on the second floor (Room 210) One issue we had was the loudness of the beds, the mattress is on a metal base and whenever you sat on it or got in and out of the bed it made a loud noises. I did mention it to the lady that was covering things in the front office for Sunday am check-outs.

We enjoyed our mini stay with Outer Banks Motor Lodge. It is an older motel but it has been renovated nicely, with very clean rooms. I love the flooring in the rooms verses having carpet. It was a very family friendly atmosphere and the front desk staff was super friendly! The view out back is beautiful.

Another great stay! This is the second time we’ve stayed here and again we had an amazing experience. The room was clean and the lady we dealt with at check in/out was so nice! This time I booked a standard room, it had a king size bed, kitchen, full bathroom, dining table and chairs. I didn’t realize until I looked over the paperwork she gave me that I booked a pet friendly room. The room was so clean that I would have never known there were dogs in there previously! This has become a favorite of ours and we’ll be staying here in the future!
