The access to the beach is great! Also a good central location in Kill Devil Hills. We were able to check in early which was nice and our room was very clean. Amazing views of the ocean from the room. We stayed on the second floor (Room 210) One issue we had was the loudness of the beds, the mattress is on a metal base and whenever you sat on it or got in and out of the bed it made a loud noises. I did mention it to the lady that was covering things in the front office for Sunday am check-outs.

We enjoyed our mini stay with Outer Banks Motor Lodge. It is an older motel but it has been renovated nicely, with very clean rooms. I love the flooring in the rooms verses having carpet. It was a very family friendly atmosphere and the front desk staff was super friendly! The view out back is beautiful.

Another great stay! This is the second time we’ve stayed here and again we had an amazing experience. The room was clean and the lady we dealt with at check in/out was so nice! This time I booked a standard room, it had a king size bed, kitchen, full bathroom, dining table and chairs. I didn’t realize until I looked over the paperwork she gave me that I booked a pet friendly room. The room was so clean that I would have never known there were dogs in there previously! This has become a favorite of ours and we’ll be staying here in the future!

What a fabulous find! This darling motel is perfect for a little getaway. The beachfront location can’t be beat, and it has all the kitschy charm and thoughtful touches like wind chimes . Our room was steps from the beach. Expect smaller rooms and window A/C because this is an older motel. It’s part of the experience. Bathroom was surprisingly spacious and the shower was super nice. We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed in a 1-bedroom room on the 2nd floor and were very impressed! The room was spacious, spotless, and had a large bathroom—perfect for families. The view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking. Linda at the front desk was wonderful and gave us great suggestions for activities with our little kids. Highly recommended! Direct access to the beach, no need to cross streets, less than 30 seconds walk ??

Stayed for one night while passing thru. We booked a courtyard view room, however our view was of the back of the office building. Would recommend booking an oceanfront room. Rooms are large in size and have a small kitchenette. Enjoy the sink is separate from the shower/toilet. Also had a small table that seats 4. Good option if you’re looking for an economical option to stay while at the beach.

Chose this place after shopping around other hotels in the area. So glad I did. Rooms were spotless and updated. Staff were super friendly and easy to deal with. My room was ocean front and worth it. Great restaurant right across the street too. I'll be going here again.

Clean, handy, reasonably priced, polite receptionist, nice beds, great showers, lots of towels, handy kitchenette, rooms on the waterfront, great restaurant across the road, Harris Teeter ( groceries) a few minutes away as well as McDonald's, gas etc.

We have stayed at the Motor lodge several times in the last few months. The staff is very nice and helpful. The location is great. It is on the beach side of US12/"the beach road". The beach is just a short walk from any of the rooms. Some rooms are directly facing the beach. This is a very nice place to stay. It is like renting a beach house without the expense of a beach house. Very clean, beds are comfortable and the HVAC works great. We particularly enjoy the rooms with a kitchenette which has a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, hot plate and kitchen sink. They supply pots, pans, bowls, dishes, utensils, glasses and coffee cups. The pool is always nice and clean. There is a laundry room which is very handy. It is convenient to everything you could want. Harris Teeter is less than a mile away. Miller's Seafood Restaurant is right across the street. They have a great breakfast and the seafood is very good.

We stayed here for the week, it was a nice place to stay. The rooms were large. Had nice kitchenette with a hot plate refrigerator microwave toaster and coffee pot. Had pans dishes and utensils for you. The beach was right there, and the pool was nice and clean. Even cleaning ladies came by regular if you needed anything. Parking was a little tight, but we had a pleasant stay.
